Eyes of the Buddha, Counted Embroidery Pattern

The Eyes of the Buddha is a counted stitching pattern featuring my version of the Eyes of the Buddha and the Buddhist Eternal Knot on a lacy background.

The pattern uses three types of stitches. The background is worked in back stitch, the middle ground in half stitch , and the foreground is cross stitch.

22 Count: 10” X 8” (25 1/2 cm x 20 1/3 cm)
18 Count: 12 1/4 x 10” (31 cm x 25 1/2 cm)

This pattern's palette includes only eleven colours, using the stitch style as much as colour to create visual interest.
